This is a shot from the bottom, side of the Neuschwanstein Castle in the Bavarian Alps, Germany.
During my stay in Germany, this was one of the many great stops I made with a small group of friends during our 2007 German Summer Trip!

Shot with my 20D and a 11-18mm f/4.5-5.6 Tamron Wide Angle lens.

OO you went to the same castle i visited on a trip to germany. did you get any shots of swan lake?

Yeah, but the weather was kinda crummy so the lake
was a bit lost in the shadows =P
Wasn't the courtyard amazing?...

yeah we did to bad they wouldn't let us take photos of the inside... i just ate up all the paintings and sculpture =3

Yeah, a bummer about the photo rules, but I agree...The ornate carvings
and all the baroque style paintings were beautiful.
What I really loved was the secret room that looks like a cave!
"It's like every kids dream house!"..lol

yeah my boyfriend went nuts when he saw that room. he loved it. he practically shouted "i want one!!" x.x i personally liked the halls with all the windows... it felt like walking through one of my daydreams.
also like the room with all the paintings and the floor with all the different animals.
