Blizzard Trail by Indigo76 Blizzard Trail by Indigo76
In January of 2008, A blizzard dropped a lot of snow in the mountains near my house. I traveled to the mountains in search of potential shots when I found this tree =D

Shot with my Canon 20D and a Tamron 11-18mm f/4.5-5.6 Wideangle lens.

There are so many details of this shot! I've attempted the same kind of shot, it didn't turn out nearly as awesome as this!

Aw Thanks man!, did you try increasing your f-stop to a higher position?
It might help bring more of the detail out for sure ;)

I think it might have been the post work or just how I shot the image. This one is full of deep rich colors. Mine was more blown out. I'll keep trying though.

The composition is so great and the contrast of the dark brown to the shades of blue and white are awesome! I love this one!

Thank you,:aww:
The snow was blowing so hard that the icicles formed horizontally at lengths up to 7 inches
on some parts of the trees..."lol"
